Role Overview

As a pivotal member of the multiVIEW team, the Field Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily activities of field personnel. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and encompasses responsibilities such as training, quality assurance, time management, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise daily operations of field staff to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  2. Serve as the primary technical resource, addressing escalations and quality concerns.
  3. Monitor and manage the quality of fieldwork and ticket submissions.
  4. Maintain expertise in customer technical specifications, including ticketing and mapping guidelines.
  5. Conduct regular training sessions for technicians, both in classroom settings and in the field.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, conducting Health, Safety, and Quality inspections.
  7. Perform utility locating services to meet workload demands and facilitate retraining of Utility Locators.
  8. Assist in the assessment of both new and existing field personnel.
  9. Conduct damage inspections as necessary.
  10. Ensure that all equipment and vehicles are in optimal condition.
  11. Fulfill additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
  1. Mandatory ORCGA Certification in Damage Prevention and Utility Locating.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in utility locating across various utility types.
  3. 3-5 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  4. Ability to self-manage and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  5. Experience in direct customer interactions.
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  7. Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  8. Possession of a clean driving record.
  9. Able to work outdoors for extended periods.
