About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dining Server to join our team at Seasons Retirement Communities. As a Dining Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents and guests have an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals to residents and guests, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Take orders, set and strip tables, and serve food and beverages in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Unpack and store supplies, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and adhere to all applicable regulations.
- Wash, clean, and sort dishes, cutlery, fixtures, and equipment used for food preparation and service.
- Operate and clean food equipment, furniture, and maintain the dining area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
- Current Safe Food Handler's Certification.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively, and follow written/verbal instructions.
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding of the needs of seniors.
- Ability to organize work and work under strict time constraints.
- High standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Experience working in a kitchen is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds is considered an asset.
- All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
