About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Assistant to join our team at 1954095 Ontario Limited. As a Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with Medication: Administer medications and assist with medication management as needed.
  • Support with Mobility: Assist patients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking, transferring, and positioning.
  • Assist with Hygiene: Assist patients with hygiene needs, including toileting, bathing, and dressing.
  • Provide Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to patients, including listening to their concerns and providing reassurance.
  • Assist with Mealtime: Assist patients with mealtime needs, including serving meals and snacks, and assisting with feeding.
  • Assist with Housekeeping: Assist with housekeeping tasks, including making beds, changing linens, and cleaning patient rooms.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and support.
