About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Provincial Relief Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and services in our pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements to meet patients' needs
  • Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive manner
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public health initiatives and community outreach programs
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patients' needs and healthcare professionals' requests/issues
  • Review and control costs at all levels within the pharmacy
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for pharmacy colleagues

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills
  • Proven ability to build business through community-based marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills, with knowledge of pharmacy computer systems
