Job Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. As an LPN, you will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team to provide high-quality patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including administering medications and performing various nursing procedures.
- Work independently and collaboratively as a member of the care team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain and advance clinical competence.
Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized program for Licensed Practical Nurses, plus successful completion of recognized, formal post-basic education in advanced orthopedics for LPNs.
- Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams.
