About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Louisa Olowu Ewela Tosan. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Meal Preparation: Cook and prepare meals for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and linen management.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Childcare: Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and happiness.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Language Skills: Bini and Edo languages are an asset.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
