We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading complex projects in the design, development, and implementation of nuclear energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage project lifecycles from proposal to implementation, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling, and close-out.
- Define and initiate projects, assign and/or obtain project managers to manage cost, schedule, and performance of component projects.
- Oversee and direct the authoring of project plans, including developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
- Analyze needs and develop unique customer satisfaction and project performance metrics.
- Determine methods and resources needed to achieve project goals and develop a detailed work plan.
- Monitor progress and ensure timelines are met at major milestones.
- Balance and manage competing project constraints, including scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risks.
- Align stakeholder expectations to achieve overall acceptance of program objectives.
- Serve as a single representative to customers, consultants, constructors, and Westinghouse business areas in support of projects.
- Properly close projects by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools.
- College Diploma or University Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline, such as Project Management, Engineering, Business, or Construction Management.
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience as a project manager, with 3 years in a technical/engineering role considered.
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, or I&C components for nuclear power plants.
- PMP certificate preferred but not required.
- Ability to provide strategic vision and demonstrate success in helping drive the business.
- Experience with MS Project or Primavera is an asset.
- Proficiency in Project Management (PMBOK) and English, both written and verbal.
