Position Overview: Civil Engineering Project Manager
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Project Manager with a minimum of eight years' experience in:
- Design and analysis of civil engineering projects including water supply, sanitary and storm drainage systems, and land development
- Conducting and verifying engineering calculations
- Creating detailed sketches for drafting teams
- Overseeing project documentation and files
- Engaging with clients and fostering business relationships
- Writing and reviewing engineering documentation and reports
- Guiding and mentoring junior engineering personnel
- Occasional site inspections
The ideal candidate will hold, or be eligible for, professional engineering registration (P. Eng.) with the relevant engineering body.
Projects will encompass a mix of civil and structural engineering tasks, focusing primarily on civil works such as potable water systems, drainage solutions, and both industrial and residential development.
This role demands strong communication abilities, enabling the preparation of clear correspondence, technical reports, and effective client interactions. You will be expected to work autonomously while delegating tasks to team members, as well as providing mentorship to junior engineers and technologists.
Our office is equipped with modern facilities, and the role includes opportunities for fieldwork, which may involve travel across various regions.
