Position Overview

As a Culinary Support Staff at Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre Edmonton South, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This position requires no formal education, and we are willing to provide training to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Table Setting: Ensure that dining areas are well-prepared by bringing clean dishes, flatware, and other necessary items to serving locations.
  • Sanitation: Clear and sanitize tables, trays, and chairs to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in portioning and wrapping food items as needed.
  • Stock Management: Maintain the inventory of refrigerators and salad bars to ensure freshness.
  • Customer Interaction: Take orders from customers with a friendly demeanor.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
  • Waste Management: Responsible for the removal of kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as required.
Work Details

This is a permanent position requiring 35 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work will be English.
