Position Overview
Are you a proficient software developer with a focus on ColdFusion? Do you thrive in collaborative environments, conducting thorough code evaluations and optimizing system functionality? Are you eager to manage all phases of software development, from gathering requirements to deployment and ongoing maintenance? If you are passionate about lifelong learning and fostering innovation, we want to hear from you.
This is a full-time, in-office role based in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and enhance eLearning management software solutions.
- Create and maintain digital forms, directories, reporting systems, eCommerce components, and additional modules within the eLearning platform.
- Conduct detailed code reviews and optimizations to enhance platform performance and user experience.
- Perform rigorous testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software releases, providing ongoing technical support and maintenance post-deployment.
- Oversee website development projects, transforming mockups into functional web interfaces utilizing ColdFusion, MSSQL, jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, and JSON.
- Manage Content Management Systems to ensure a user-friendly interface for clients.
- Develop, test, and deploy applications across various environments.
- Collaborate closely with managers, team leads, designers, and fellow developers to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver exceptional software.
- Develop web applications using a variety of ColdFusion frameworks.
- 8+ years of experience in software development with a focus on ColdFusion.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies and frameworks, including ColdFusion, Lucee, ReactJS, AngularJS, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with database technologies such as MySQL and MSSQL.
- Proficient in utilizing development and collaboration tools like GitHub, Docker, JIRA, Postman, Source Tree, Tortoise SVN, BitBucket, and Salesforce.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
