Job Title: Registered Nurse, Emergency Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Northumberland Hills Hospital.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications
  • Experience in emergency nursing or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
