About the Role
We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor residents' needs, developing and implementing care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
Requirements
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Registered/eligible for registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care, with a strong understanding of gerontological nursing principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
