Motel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Lacombe Motor Inn. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our motel, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of staff in various areas of responsibility, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Assist clients/guests with special needs and ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Perform same duties as workers supervised, including checking in guests, handling customer complaints, and maintaining the cleanliness of the motel.
- Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient operation of the motel.
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
- Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. The work environment is physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:The successful candidate will work 30 to 44 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
