Job Title: Delivery Driver

At Urban Classic Furniture and Home Decor, we are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and merchandise to our customers in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products as required.
  • Keep accurate records of items received and delivered.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Follow directions and read maps to ensure timely delivery.
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes.
  • Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Reliability and dependability.
  • Team player with a client-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Knowledge of the local area and traffic patterns.
Work Environment:

Our Delivery Drivers work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
