Morrison Hershfield, now part of Stantec, is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions in Canada. We are seeking a Checker and Scalesperson to join our team on a short-term contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record the weight of loaded asphalt trucks at the asphalt plant or by the paver.
- Maintain accurate running totals of asphalt quantities.
Requirements:
- Previous construction experience is an asset.
- Able to work on weekends as required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- A valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
Location: Projects are located in various areas of Alberta, including Oyen, Empress, Mulhurst, Warburg, Elk Point, Myrnam, and Wainwright. Please specify your preferred location in the additional questionnaire.
Job Type: Temporary (Fixed Term)
