We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join our team at Niagara University. The successful candidate will have a strong background in education and research, with a focus on academic excellence and student success.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative educational programs and courses that align with the university's mission and goals.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in reputable academic journals.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, promoting their academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Participate in departmental and university-wide committees to contribute to the development of academic policies and procedures.
- Ph.D. in a relevant field with a focus on education and research.
- 3-5 years of experience in higher education, preferably in a teaching and research role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
