Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing technical elements, coordinating, verifying, and designing various mechanical systems for buildings
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to execute mechanical system design projects across various sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural, and residential)
  • Engaging with clients to ascertain their requirements
  • Conducting assessments of existing mechanical installations
  • Analyzing, designing, and modifying building-related systems
  • Preparing preliminary study reports and various client-specific documentation
  • Assisting in the development of service proposals in conjunction with business development efforts
  • Evaluating construction cost estimates and contributing to project scheduling
  • Drafting specifications and technical documentation
  • Facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration with external professionals
  • Providing support in supervising construction work

Desired qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (specialization in building systems) or building engineering
  • Membership in the Quebec Order of Engineers
  • Experience in designing mechanical plans and specifications within Quebec
  • Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
  • Strong leadership, adaptability, independence, and communication skills
