Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, launder clothing and household linens.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate punctuality, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train.
  • 36 to 44 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
