Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment: Use your technical expertise to detect faults and malfunctions in our equipment.
- Diagnose and Repair: Utilize computerized and other testing equipment to diagnose faults and perform repairs.
- Adjust and Maintain: Adjust and repair or replace defective parts to ensure our equipment is running efficiently.
- Test and Verify: Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications.
- Clean and Lubricate: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating equipment.
- Repair Heavy Trucks: Repair and maintain our heavy truck fleet.
- Service Attachments and Tools: Service and maintain attachments and working tools.
- Verify Emission Control Systems: Verify and repair emission control systems to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Physically Demanding: This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: You must have a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate diagnoses and repairs.
- Reliability: You must be reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Work Term: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
- Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
