Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at D ALLIANCE MOTORS. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs, and provide detailed reports to management.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the art of truck and trailer repair and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our fleet remains in top condition.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. Steel-toed safety boots are required for the job. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
