Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at S Trucking Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs to ensure minimal downtime and maintain schedule.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of the vehicle and ensure optimal performance.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping and handling.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work environment is a fast-paced transportation setting.
