Job Title: Early Childhood Program Staff Assistant

Garderie Touche-à-tout is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Program Staff Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our childcare centre, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations and providing a nurturing environment for our young learners.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist co-workers in maintaining a clean and safe environment, including housekeeping and cooking duties.
  • Support early childhood educators in developing and implementing programs that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
  • Lead activities that foster creativity, such as storytelling, singing, and exploring local attractions.
  • Assist in record-keeping and submitting written observations on children's progress.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and community service providers.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Food allergy and anaphylaxis training, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate are required.
  • Criminal record check, immunization records, and vulnerable sector check are necessary.
