Job Title: Hairstylist

We are seeking a skilled and creative Hairstylist to join our team. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, trimming, and styling hair according to their preferences.

Responsibilities:
  • Cut and trim hair using various techniques and tools
  • Shampoo and condition hair to ensure cleanliness and health
  • Provide hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting
  • Apply bleach, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair to achieve desired looks
  • Suggest hairstyles compatible with clients' physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties, including answering phones and handling customer inquiries
  • Maintain and order supplies to ensure a well-stocked salon
Requirements:
  • College or CEGEP education in hairstyling or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in the hairstyling industry or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and dependability
