Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at World of Joy Child Care Centre. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Education
    • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children.
    • Establish a safe and healthy environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
    • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team.
  • Communication and Documentation
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of children's progress, including observations, assessments, and reports.
    • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians through regular updates and meetings.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and policies.
    • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture that values diversity and promotes a sense of community.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Punctuality and reliability.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment
    • 35 hours per week.
    • English language required.
