About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all customers receive excellent service.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and ensure that all staff are aware of food safety procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and ensure that all staff are working together as a team.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, and to stand for long periods of time.
