Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Premier Montessori Academy.

Job Summary

The Early Childhood Assistant will provide support to our early childhood educators in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to grow and develop. This role involves assisting with daily activities, preparing materials, and engaging with children to promote their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote children's development
  • Help maintain accurate records of children's progress
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafts
  • Support children in developing good habits and routines
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for meals and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges
Requirements
  • 1-6 months of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent position
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
