Transportation Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at LINK-X TRANSPORT INC.
Job Summary:The Transportation Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring the accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Compile orders and instructions received from customers and ensure timely completion.
- Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including planning and organizing operational logistics.
- Track and complete work orders, prepare and submit reports, and maintain work records and logs.
- Perform general office duties, conduct performance reviews, and dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders.
- Follow-up on issues with work orders, keep track of shipments, and maintain knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
- Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
- Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses, and schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment, and under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to handle heavy loads, and accurate record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with dispatchers, radio operators, and transportation route and crew schedulers.
- Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations, as well as cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
- Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment, and under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
