Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at GreenFirst Forest Products. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct the maintenance activities of our site services team to optimize maintenance efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians and provide guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and develop solutions to address them.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance metrics, including equipment reliability and maintenance costs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance management to ensure our team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
