We are seeking a skilled Pasta Maker to join our team at ONLY PASTA INC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machinery to process and package food products, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities- Operate machinery: Process and package food products, including pasta, to meet company standards.
- Perform machine adjustments: Make corrective adjustments to machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Record production information: Accurately record production data, including quantities and quality control measures.
- Monitor processing conditions: Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions.
- Clean and maintain equipment: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Inform supervisor of issues: Notify supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities.
- Adjust process variables: Make adjustments to process variables to optimize production.
- Maintain shift log: Record production and other relevant data.
- Set up and adjust machinery: Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines to meet production needs.
- Check products for defects: Inspect products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Certifications: Food Safety Certificate and National Food Safety Training Program (NFSTP).
- Equipment and machinery experience: Multi-functional process control machinery and single-function machine.
- Security and safety: Criminal record check.
- Transportation: Own transportation and valid driver's license.
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal suitability: Team player and resourcefulness.
