Production Planner / Transactions

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Production Planner to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our Planning and Execution Services department, you will be responsible for translating customer orders and sales forecasts into a production schedule. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy of planning based on the receipt of raw materials while optimizing the use of equipment and labor.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Develop optimized production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer order priorities, labor availability, and equipment availability.
  • Respond quickly to new information provided by sales, customer service, or operations teams and adjust the production plan accordingly.
  • Complete production reports and efficiently manage performance indicators.
  • Participate in the transactional process to ensure that usage declarations are made on work orders.
  • Conduct analysis and provide explanations for usage variances on work orders.
  • Master the transactional process related to the receipt of goods to ensure they are properly received in our system.
  • Master the transactional invoicing process for orders to support the shipping department.
Qualifications for the Role
  • University or college degree in a relevant field such as Operations Management, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, etc.
  • Excellent customer service and strong ability to follow up and strictly meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated skills in autonomy, rigor, meticulousness, and decision-making.
  • Strong planning and priority management abilities to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP, KBM, Excel, Outlook, and Teams software.
  • Bilingualism (French - English)
