About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Provide Patient Care

Monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy, and provide nursing services to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.

Collaborate with Healthcare Team

Consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and make informed decisions about patient care.

Work in a Dynamic Environment

Work in a fast-paced hospital/medical facility or clinic setting, providing care to patients with a variety of needs and conditions.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, and experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse is an asset.

Certifications and Licenses

Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work.

Language and Communication

Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
