Network Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at SAZAN IT CONSULTING INC.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating access and use of computer networks, installing web server hardware and software, and maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate access and use of computer networks
- Install web server hardware and software
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
- Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks
- Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
- Provide problem-solving services to network users
- Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
- Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
- Implement network traffic and security monitoring software and optimize server performance
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Requirements- College/CEGEP education
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Efficient interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure
