Dance Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team at YMCA Calgary. The successful candidate will have a strong background in dance education and a passion for working with children and adults.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver dance programs for children and adults, including lesson plans and curriculum development
- Assess and evaluate participant progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high-quality program delivery
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with participants, colleagues, and management
- Post-secondary education in dance or a related field
- Experience teaching dance to children and adults
- Current Standard First Aid and AED certification
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
