Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Delivering Smiles Services Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, oversee all aspects of vehicle condition, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure work environment, adhering to company policies and regulations, and possessing a valid driver's license and basic security clearance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Skills: Attention to detail, handling heavy loads, large workload, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, and up to 45 kg (100 lbs) weight handling.
Working Conditions

The work site environment is dusty, and the work setting involves various locations. The job requires flexibility, judgment, organization, reliability, and a hardworking attitude.
