Position: Automotive Body Repair Specialist
Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years in a similar role is preferred.
Job Overview:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Replace and repair various vehicle components including front ends, body parts, doors, and frame sections.
- Prepare surfaces for repair by filing, grinding, and sanding as necessary.
- Mask and tape surfaces in anticipation of painting procedures.
- Utilize hammers and blocks to correct dents and imperfections.
- Remove damaged panels and fenders, and securely install replacement parts through bolting or welding.
- Apply primer and paint to restore surfaces to their original condition.
- Repair or replace interior vehicle components as needed.
- Use soldering tools or plastic fillers to address holes, dents, and seams.
- Straighten bent frames using specialized pulling and anchoring equipment.
