The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Geological or Civil Engineering. Registration or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer is required. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in mining, hydropower, and/or infrastructure project development, with a solid foundation in geotechnical analysis, is essential. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to various mining and hydropower initiatives and must be adept at collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. This role includes prospects for both domestic and international travel and will entail field assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and executing geotechnical/hydrogeological site investigation programs
- Conducting geotechnical and/or civil engineering analyses and designs
- Supervising construction projects
- Coordinating technical efforts across multiple disciplines and teams
- Engaging in project management tasks
- Drafting technical reports
- Developing detailed proposals and timelines
- Mentoring and guiding junior and intermediate personnel
Current projects that the successful candidate may participate in include tailings dams, geotechnical support for operating underground and open-pit mines, mine infrastructure, water-retaining dams, pipelines, and hydropower facilities.
We emphasize the importance of delivering practical solutions to fulfill our clients' requirements, and preference will be given to candidates with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong technical expertise.
