Triangle Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a skilled Journeyman/Woman Carpenter to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly experienced Carpenter with a strong background in construction, renovation, and maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials, as well as supervising other workers and instructing apprentices.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Schedule and coordinate work on sites
- Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
- Estimate costs and materials
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures
- 5 years or more of experience in the trade
- Other trades certificate or diploma
- Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and outdoors
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
