Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute commodity strategies to meet business objectives
  • Lead and participate in the development of business cases for new sourcing initiatives
  • Manage projects to identify and realize cost reduction opportunities
  • Establish and maintain formal networks with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Act as single interface with suppliers for new business opportunities
  • Support sites and business units with sourcing strategies and negotiations
  • Coordinate and lead negotiations with suppliers to resolve production issues
  • Support business units in applying contractual remedies against material breaches
  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and ensure contracts meet business requirements
  • Coordinate procurement agents' activities to achieve balanced scorecard objectives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • Experience in the aerospace industry or manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Excellent negotiation and project management skills
  • Detail-oriented and focused with strong leadership and innovation skills
  • High proficiency in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong capabilities in operations and financial management
  • Familiarity with Just-In-Time purchasing logistics, integrated supply chain, and lean manufacturing concepts
  • Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
