Responsibilities

Interpret and analyze blueprints to ascertain dimensions, tolerances, and work layout Utilize the imperial measurement system effectively Select and set up appropriate welding equipment and techniques based on specifications Align components using tools such as straightedges and combination squares Execute welds on components and assemblies using various welding equipment Ensure that equipment is maintained in a safe and operational condition

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of experience in welding Proficient in operating oxy/fuel cutting equipment and electric welding machines Skilled in GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW welding processes Familiarity with welding equipment and standard procedures Experience with both electrical and manual tools Commitment to safe work practices and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate workflow needs Adaptability and patience in managing multiple tasks
