About the Role

RSM US LLP is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team. As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate the complex world of cybersecurity and ensure their organizations are protected from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and mitigate cyber security risks within our clients' organizations.
  2. Develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies to ensure compliance with industry and government regulations.
  3. Perform in-depth analysis and testing to identify vulnerabilities in mobile and web applications, as well as web services.
  4. Design and implement penetration testing and vulnerability scanning programs to identify and address security weaknesses.
  5. Communicate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  6. Develop and maintain threat intelligence programs to stay ahead of emerging cyber threats.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cybersecurity solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
  2. Strong knowledge of computer network technologies, protocols, and topologies.
  3. Experience with software development, programming, and scripting languages such as Python, C, Java, and Perl.
  4. Ability to track and analyze cyber threats, including malware campaigns and adversarial activity.
  5. Basic understanding of intelligence gathering and analysis, including the intelligence lifecycle and Kill Chain.
  6. High degree of integrity and confidentiality, with the ability to adhere to company policies and best practices.
  7. 0-2 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Practical experience with IT infrastructure components, including servers, firewalls, and IDS systems.
  2. Hands-on experience with security applications, such as AppScan, Metasploit, and BurpSuite.
  3. Operating system configuration and security experience, including HP-UX, Linux, Solaris, and AIX.
  4. Configuration and security experience with web servers and web applications, including Apache, Microsoft IIS, and Oracle iPlanet.
  5. Database configuration and security experience, including MySQL, Microsoft SQL, and IBM DB2.
  6. Familiarity with security testing techniques, including network discovery, port and service identification, and vulnerability scanning.
What We Offer

RSM US LLP offers a competitive benefits and compensation package, including a salary range of $60,720 - $72,450. Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
