Financial Operations Manager

Job Summary:

Nortek, Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing leadership and coordination of the company's financial reporting, budgeting, and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the CFO in maintaining key business indicators and providing financial analysis to support business decisions.
  • Assess and improve existing financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
  • Implement new financial systems to enhance reporting capabilities and eliminate manual processes.
  • Develop and monitor accounting policies and internal checks to ensure accuracy and safeguard company assets.
  • Support the CFO in developing financial policies and long-range plans to drive company growth.
  • Assist in developing creative financing strategies to support capital requirements.
  • Prepare and present consolidated financial reporting packages to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Calculate variances from budget and provide financial analysis as needed.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting operational functions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Controller or in a similar position.
  • CPA designation with comprehensive understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with superior knowledge of Excel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and NetSuite.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Working Conditions:

The work environment is an open office setting with moderate noise levels. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in an office environment and be able to sit and stand for extended periods.
