About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Architect to join our team at Symbiotic Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based web solutions using Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define architecture for web-based projects, ensuring consistency with existing work
  • Perform architectural modeling to ensure design meets requirements
  • Select development language for projects, considering factors such as scalability and maintainability
  • Assess impact of new requirements on existing web applications, identifying areas for improvement
  • Ensure functionalities are implemented according to specifications, with a focus on quality and reliability
  • Define assumptions and constraints of architecture, considering physical structure and data collection
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience as a Web Architect, with a strong background in cloud-based solutions
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure, including development, deployment, and management
  • Strong understanding of front-end development, including accessibility standards and WCAG 2.x
  • Experience with back-end development, including.NET 6.0 or higher and Object Relational Mapping (ORM)
  • Strong understanding of data management and analytics, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and Power BI
  • Experience with cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and various Azure services
  • Strong understanding of security and compliance, including Azure Identity Framework and Government of Canada External Credential Management
