Job Title: Transportation Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Tophill Logistics Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of computer equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and hire staff to support our logistics operations.
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support our logistics operations.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics operations.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
