Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Analyst to join our Legal Department, supporting the Canadian side of our business. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, a proactive and business-oriented attitude, and strong problem-solving skills. In this role, you will work closely with various departments, including Construction, Operations, Leasing, Finance, and others, to review and analyze contracts, work authorizations, and corporate documents before they are finalized.

The successful candidate will have experience in an in-house legal department or law firm, a passion for growing a business, and a commitment to continuous improvement that benefits the company. We are looking for someone with a thirst for learning, who is resourceful and hardworking, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain legal documents for the Legal Department.
  • Draft, review, and analyze commercial contracts, proposals, and other related documents for validation prior to contract issuance.
  • Facilitate contractual processes and serve as a resource person for the Legal Department.
  • Work closely with various members of the Legal Department.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Collaborate with other Vantage departments to improve procedures and increase efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other Vantage departments to support the goals of the Legal Department.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative, paralegal, or contract analyst role.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal and technical documents.
  • Expertise with Microsoft, DocuSign, and SharePoint applications.
  • Integrity, credibility, character, and ethics are beyond reproach.
  • Experience using enterprise resource planning software or contract management software is an asset.
  • Experience in the construction industry is an asset.
