Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to identify breakdown issues and order necessary parts.
  • Troubleshoot repairs and install parts with a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Conduct and perform planned preventive and predictive maintenance, maintaining accurate records.
  • Minimize production downtime by responding promptly to production calls.
  • Comply with all regulations relating to equipment in a manufacturing facility.
  • Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate malfunctions.
  • Record keeping of all maintenance activities daily.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Hands-on experience in machine maintenance.
  • Experience in metal manufacturing plant a definite asset.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
