Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team at Premise Health. As a key member of our occupational health team, you will play a critical role in promoting workplace wellness and preventing injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Physical Demand Analyses to identify high-risk work areas and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with onsite medical teams and client safety teams to implement injury prevention strategies.
  • Develop and lead training sessions on functional movement patterns, job simulations, and educational programs for occupational health and safety.
  • Provide client follow-up and make recommendations for work performance based on knowledge in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and ergonomic principles.
  • Perform injury/musculoskeletal screening and assessment, covering history, observation, palpation, range of motion, and muscle strength.
  • Provide basic first aid in alignment with OSHA first aid standards.
  • Care coordination and communication with on-site medical providers.
  • Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, and EMR documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional athletic training education program.
  • Board Certified Athletic Trainer per state requirements (BOC).
  • Current certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers.
  • Experience in health/fitness industry, occupational health and safety, and knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred.
