Position Overview

STI Transport Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload cargo with care
  • Secure necessary permits and documentation for international transport
  • Operate and navigate straight or articulated trucks
  • Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
  • Perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance as needed
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage
  • Ensure the safety and security of all transported goods
Equipment and Weight Handling

  • Weight handling capacity: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
