Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including cooks, food and beverage servers, and kitchen and food service helpers.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they are aware of and follow all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of staff who are responsible for preparing and serving food to customers. The work environment is dynamic and requires the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
