Position Overview

PAL Aerospace is seeking dedicated Direct Entry Captains and First Officers who prioritize safety and exceptional customer service to become part of our esteemed team.

  • Extensive network covering 27 destinations in Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, and Ontario

  • Modern fleet including Dash 8-100, Dash 8-300, and Dash 8-Q400 aircraft
  • Three operational bases located in St. John's, Halifax, and Montreal

Additional Pilot Benefits

  • Per diem allowances for workdays
  • Guaranteed 12 days off each month

  • 11 additional holiday block vacation days each year
  • Annual allowances for shoes and headsets

Qualifications Required

  • Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License
  • Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating
  • Valid Transport Canada Multi-Engine Rating
  • Current Transport Canada Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Must possess one of the following: valid ATPL; SAMRA & SARON; or IATRA written and passed within the last two years
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
  • Current passport required at the time of hiring
  • Must be able to travel to the United States without restrictions
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a C-1/D transit/crewmember visa
  • Legal entitlement to work in Canada
  • Completion of a high school diploma
  • Must meet Transport Canada English proficiency standard (level 4)
  • Direct Entry Captain candidates must hold an ATPL

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of a Canadian ATPL
  • Experience as a pilot in multi-engine turbine aircraft with two crew
