Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Coach to join our team at Club de natation les Loups-Marins de Rivière-du-Loup inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating competitive programs, developing well-planned schedules, and performing administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement competitive programs for swimmers of all levels, including planning and scheduling of practices and competitions.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and guidance to swimmers, focusing on technique, strategy, and sportsmanship.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, manage team schedules, and perform other administrative duties as required.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and other team members to ensure a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for swimmers, including adhering to safety protocols and risk management procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for swimming and coaching.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing a positive and supportive team experience for swimmers. The work environment will be a swimming pool, with occasional travel to competitions and events.
